3M 2091 Vs 3M 2291

What is the difference between the 3M 2091 filter and the 3M 2291?

Both the 3M 2091 and the 3M 2291 respirator filters are used for the following respirators

3M Half Mask Respirators

3M 6000 series respirators (Elastomeric)

3M 6500 series respirators (Silicone with Cool-Flow Valve)

3M 7500 series respirators (Advanced Silicon with Cool-Flow Valve)

3M Full Face Respirators

3M 6000 series respirators (Silicone/Elastomeric)

3M 7800 series respirators (Silicone)

The 3M 2091 and the 3M 2291 respirator filters are both rated P100, which means that they filter out 99.97 of the particulates and are oil proof.

The difference between the 3M 2091 and the 3M 2291 is that the 3M 2291 filters are engineered for easier breathing, making them ideal for tough work environments. Their netting construction technology also increases durability for a longer lasting filter. The result is a new standard in disc filter performance and breathability.

3M 2291 Filter Benefits Include:

  • Easier breathing over the life of the filter through 3-layer Advanced Electret Filter Media.
  • Enhanced durability with abrasion-resistant netting construction.
